what_a_bummer
so, almost everyone has dropped the class now. there are only 4 students and adam. damn.
i hope someone else gets in...
this morning we learned how to use [expr~] which lets you write math equations with $F1 instead of x. pretty neat!
i'm stoked to try out my piece this afternoon. hopefully i dont pass out. i'm very tired.

alork_day1-4
day 1 final patch here
notes:
i had a bunch of ideas about what i wanted to do for the first piece but after playing with the patch i decided that this was the least complicated, the best sounding and also something that a regular orchestra couldn't really do... i dont think.
piece:
divide into two groups. one group selects preset 1 by pressing the [1] key and the other group selects preset 2 by pressing the [2] key. everyone moves the left slider to the top. when i give the sign, the corresponding group plays the [a] key. as i lower either hand, corresponding group lowers the left slider. left slider back to the top when i give the sign. same procedure with the [d] key. and again with the [f] key.
